Hello,

Greeting after the Easter! How was your Easter break? Hope you enjoyed your time.

In China we don't celebrate Easter, but since I am now in the UK so I got a week off. I got chance to invite friends for lunch and also practiced my photography skills, which was great:)

A new experience in March was that for the first time I wrote and posted a short book review on my site. The book is mainly a English-Chinese glossary for beers, which also include some background information about craft beers in China. I just by chance saw this book on Twitter and the author offered me the copy for free said if I could write a review for it. So I just happy to help and I am not an affiliate.

This is my parents’ home cooking recipe for Chinese Lion Head Meatballs, which is a well-known dish in China. But unlike most existing recipes for this dish, our family made is a non-fried version. So if you want a healthy meatball dish, check this page.

In our daily eating, we normally don’t eat the dessert. Except occasionally, such as during the festival time, my parents might make simple sweet dish, such as the sweet sticky rice balls and this Chinese sweet tomato salad. Very simple to make, a perfect salad dish for the summer. (Might check this page to see how to remove the tomato skin:).

Chinese home cooking for Chinese tofu tomato soup (recipe), tomato and tofu with Chinese black wood ears and Chinese herb. Simple, tasty and healthy.

Chinese Century Egg, called Pi Dan in Chinese, is a very common food in Chinese daily eating, but it might not everyone's cup of tea. In this video you can see how we make a century egg dish with hot green chilli.
